Conceptscale ambiguity / 尺度歧义
Monocular Scale Ambiguity
In monocular vision, when 3D structure is recovered from a single image alone, absolute distance information is lost; the reconstruction can be scaled arbitrarily without affecting image consistency. It must be resolved using calibration references, a stereo baseline or depth sensors.
