Cascaded Diffusion Models

Cascaded Diffusion Models is a pixel-space diffusion framework proposed by Google Research in 2021. It generates a low-resolution image first, then progressively upscales it to the target resolution through a pipeline of super-resolution diffusion models. All operations are performed entirely in pixel space without relying on a variational autoencoder (VAE).
