Trae recently released a new version that supports models such as Claude 3.5 and DeepSeek R1, and it is currently free.

After inputting the client's basic information and requirements into Trae, Trae can output a functional flowchart, an overall architecture recommendation, and reminders of items that need to be confirmed with the client.

Before taking on a project, three judgments must be passed: whether the functionality can be converged, whether the tech stack is clear, and whether the deliverable can be verified; only after all three pass is the client's requirements expanded into a requirement description and handed to Trae.

Using Trae, it took 7-10 minutes from requirement confirmation to generating a runnable nail salon appointment system (including the customer side, owner side, backend, and scheduling).

During the AI system generation process, the user can stop, modify, or override each step of the AI, maintaining control over the project.

The same AI project-taking workflow can be used to build various small tools such as Excel organization tools, viral content deconstruction and rewriting tools, and marketing QR-code mini games.

Compared with Cursor, Trae, and various Copilot plugins, OpenCode is considerably less smooth when writing code.
