DLC (Downloadable Content) refers to downloadable content added after a game's base release, with common forms including story expansion packs, new maps, new characters, and cosmetic skins.

Story expansion DLC often comes with a systematic set of challenging achievements, while cosmetic packs usually carry no achievements or only very few.
