Index Table
A structured metadata table generated by an AI agent, containing information such as file names, paths, creation times and sizes, which converts unstructured files into database records that can be queried, filtered and sorted.
Timeline (last 90 days)
The core idea of this solution is to have the Agent do three things: create directories by year and month, place screenshots and photos separately, and generate an index table.
After the case run was completed, 47 screenshots were gathered under the September 2026 directory, and an index table was generated.
The index table converts unstructured files into structured metadata, including fields such as path, creation time, and dimensions, equivalent to creating a database record for each image that can be filtered, sorted, and batch-updated.
If the index table includes filenames, paths, creation times, dimensions, and even content summaries, subsequent retrieval can be detached from the file system itself and become queries against the table.
