UK AI Safety Institute (AISI)

A research institute established by the UK government in 2023 that conducts pre-deployment evaluations of frontier AI models, covering dimensions such as misuse risk, loss-of-control risk and cybersecurity capabilities. It has also developed open-source evaluation tools such as Inspector.
