One of Desigma's makers is Kir Leshkevich.
Desigma is currently still at an early stage, with relatively limited documentation and feature lists on GitHub, and the project is seeking community contributors to develop it together.
If Desigma can attract enough contributors, fill in core features, and build a plugin system, open-source design tools may be able to carve out their own market position.
For design teams seeking stable collaboration, Desigma will still find it difficult to shake Figma's position in the short term.
