Sentinel
A permission management module within Meta Muse that defines operational boundaries and hard-limit rules for agents. It supports tiered authorization controls covering read and execution privileges, enabling administrators to constrain agent behavior within predefined boundaries.

Among uGAP's 120 datasets, the vast majority come from international satellites such as Landsat, Sentinel, and MODIS, and there is as yet no African indigenous satellite data.
The uGAP platform offers three data access methods: direct download; drawing a bounding box on a map for spatially clipped download; and filtering Sentinel, MODIS, and Landsat imagery by time window and cloud cover through an integrated search-and-archive function.
Sentinel's approach is to move the basis for deciding "whether to execute" from the semantics of the model's output back to the explicit exact words the user wrote in advance; this is similar to "human-in-the-loop" approval but stricter—it does not require manual confirmation for every operation, but requires that the authorization text itself be traceable to the user.
Bits has a built-in reviewer called Sentinel; when risky operations are involved, Sentinel trusts only the user's own exact words rather than letting the model judge on its own.
Of the 29 comments, 27 revised the article, 1 was rejected (the reviewer mislabeled the Sentinel draft date 2026-10-14 as a future date, because the review prompt carried no current date and the model's knowledge cutoff precedes 2026), and 1 was retained (a style objection in the REA article).
The prompt token counts for the four successful reviews were Sentinel 5,095, Vuln-Scanner 5,365, Bloom 5,149, and Wiper 24,372, with response tokens of 1,820, 1,764, 1,974, and 1,605 respectively; the probe cost 443 prompt and 1,009 response tokens.
Sentinel executes validated code in an isolated subprocess runtime, with strict timeouts and memory boundaries enforced.
NeuroHive's core design includes four autonomous agents: Atlas (system architect), Cygnus (lead engineer), Vanguard (security auditor), and Sentinel (execution engine).
Sentinel's isolation is based on Linux subprocess primitives (such as fork, exec, setrlimit, etc.) and is engineering-grade protection rather than VM- or container-level strong isolation.
Python 3.15 introduces the Sentinel type, allowing developers to define sentinel values with explicit names, such as MISSING = Sentinel("MISSING") and EMPTY = Sentinel("EMPTY").
